This painting is inspired by the ocean, its tides and the currents that circulate around the globe.  The central circular shape represents the moon and the sun, the moon being influential in affecting tidal activities, the sun so important to life and growth in the ocean.  The sea has a way of cleansing, providing sustenance for all life, and unifying all of us at its shores.  The expressive brush making contrasts with the level, horizontal line and circular shape showing the disorder and calm the ocean can encompass.
